INTRODUCTION
The series is centered on Sophie Mercer, a sixteen-year-old witch who is sent to Hecate Hall (nicknamed "Hex Hall"), a boarding school for magical beings, after a string of disastrous spells gone wrong. While there, she gets caught up in the ongoing war between the Prodigium and the human organizations who seek to eradicate them from the world.
